Abstract

The invention relates to a glove device (4), the glove (3) of which is provided for protected access into a working chamber (11) of a container (1) through an inlet (24) present in a port flange (2). The port flange (2) is inserted into a windshield (12) or a wall of a housing (10) of a container (1) positioned in a placement space (19). A unit (13) for processing the material to be processed can be arranged in the working chamber (11). According to the invention, the glove device (4) is configured as a structural assembly that can be gas-tightly inserted into the port flange (2) in the form of an insert, and comprises a removable or openable seal (41) provided on one side and a cover part (7) or a closure part (5) on the other side, which can be disengaged from the structural assembly, and a glove (3) vacuum-packaged between the seal and the covering or occluding member. The glove device (4) also has a fastening means (40) for gas-tight fastening to the port flanges (2) and for clamping a seal (41) between the port flanges.
