Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a battery module having an insulating property and a battery pack including the same. A battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a frame formed on the upper surface, the lower surface, the left surface, and the right surface to accommodate the battery cell stack; and an insulating coating layer formed on an upper surface, a lower surface, a left surface, and a right surface of an inner side of the frame, in which a plurality of grooves corresponding to a bottom shape of the battery cell stack are formed on the lower surface of the inner side of the frame, and in which a lower surface of the insulating coating layer is formed to be coated on an upper surface of the plurality of grooves.
