Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a hydrogenated petroleum resin and a rubber composition comprising the same. The hydrogenated petroleum resin according to the present disclosure not only improves the viscoelastic properties of the rubber including the same, but also has excellent compatibility with the rubber, thereby improving the overall physical properties of the rubber. Accordingly, a rubber molded article, such as a tire, manufactured from the rubber composition containing the hydrogenated petroleum resin has improved grip strength (wet / dry) and reduced increase in rolling resistance due to improved grip, thereby simultaneously satisfying both grip and rolling resistance properties required as a tire, this makes it possible to produce a tire having low fuel consumption and high performance.
