The method comprises the following steps: the sample making instrument obtains the sample size of a to-be-dyed piece and the type of a dyeing solution; determining a dyeing mode according to the sample size of the to-be-dyed piece and the type of the dyeing liquid, wherein the dyeing mode comprises a single dyeing low-speed dyeing mode and a single dyeing high-speed dyeing mode; a solution preparation mode is determined according to the dyeing mode, and when the dyeing mode is a single-dyeing high-speed dyeing mode, solution preparation is carried out through at least two dyeing solution preparation assemblies; the to-be-dyed part is dyed according to the solution preparation mode, and when the dyeing mode is a single-dyeing high-speed dyeing mode, dyeing is conducted through at least one diluted dyeing solution dyeing vat.
