Abstract

The present disclosure provides an apparatus for holding a portable electronic device. An apparatus may include a base, a plurality of legs rotatably connected to the base, and a platform rotatably connected to the base via at least one first hinge. The platform may be configured to receive an electronic device and configured to pivot about the at least one first hinge between a horizontal position and a tilted position. The apparatus of the present disclosure may further include a retractable grip coupled to the platform and configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position outside of the platform. In the extended position, the at least one contact portion of the retractable grip portion may be configured to provide a biasing force to an upper surface of the electronic device such that at least a portion of the electronic device is disposed between the platform and the at least one contact portion.
