The insulating coating comprises a component I and a component II, wherein the component I is prepared from modified epoxy resin, flaky nano mica, nano aluminum oxide, macromolecular polyethylene, PEEK micro powder, a dispersing agent, a reactive diluent and a flame retardant; the component II comprises modified epoxy phenolic aldehyde, a reactive diluent, nano silicon carbide, nano aluminum oxide, a dispersing agent and a flame retardant. The insulating paint disclosed by the invention has high-performance insulativity, can be used in severe environments such as high voltage, high temperature, acid, alkali, salt and the like, keeps good insulativity and physical and mechanical properties, and can be widely applied to electrical equipment facilities in various industrial places in reality.
