Rabies virus l protein b cell epitope polypeptides, monoclonal antibodies and uses

Abstract

The application discloses a rabies virus L protein B cell epitope polypeptide, a monoclonal antibody and application, and belongs to the technical field of biotechnology.A new type of B cell linear epitope of a rabies virus L protein is identified and disclosed for the first time, and the amino acid sequence is PLSRGEIFSIPQKIPA.The application further provides a monoclonal antibody against the rabies virus L protein, the monoclonal antibody can specifically recognize the B cell epitope, and provides an important tool for function research and expression detection of the rabies virus L protein.Meanwhile, the application determines key amino acid residues in the B cell epitope through an alanine scanning mutation technology, and provides a basis for in-depth understanding of an antigen-antibody interaction mechanism.In summary, the identified B cell epitope and the provided monoclonal antibody against the rabies virus L protein lay a solid technical foundation for development of a broad-spectrum rabies serological diagnostic reagent and a new type of vaccine (such as an epitope vaccine).
