A package type compressor is provided to efficiently cool a compressor body or the like by sufficiently feeding cooling air into a soundproof box. A partitioning plate(16) provided in a soundproof box(1) comprises a vertical plate(16A) having an air intake duct(17) in a space to a rear surface plate(3) of the soundproof box, a transverse plate(16B) having a discharge duct(18) in a space to a top surface plate(7), and a cooling air flow port(16C) provided at the vertical plate to define the air intake duct and the discharge duct partitioned vertically in the soundproof box. A discharge port(20) having a large opening area almost over the whole range in the horizontal direction of the top surface plate is provided and thus a large amount of cooling air flows in the soundproof box and a compressor body is efficiently cooled.
