Abstract

A mechanical rotating device, comprising a casing (11, 12, 13, 14). The end of the rotating shaft protrudes from the front wall (12A) of the housing. The electric rotating device (MG, MG2) is coaxial with the rotating shaft (16) and connected with the end of the rotating shaft. The electric rotary device is used as at least one of a motor and a generator. The rotating component is connected with the rotating shaft (16), and has a power transmission mechanism (49) capable of transmitting power between the rotating unit and external equipment. A one-way clutch (50) is provided between the rotating shaft (16) and the rotating member (17) on the power transmission path. The one-way clutch is located inside the rotating member.
