Abstract

A plasma display apparatus includes a plurality of electrodes for electric discharge, and a drive circuit which drives the plurality of electrodes. The drive circuit includes first and second outputting circuits provided on a board (50), a connector (57A) provided on the board (50) and coupled to the plurality of electrodes, and a conductive plate which is provided on the board (50), and provides electrical couplings between the first and second outputting circuits and the connector. The conductive plate includes a first area connected to the first outputting circuit and a second area connected to the second outputting circuit, the first area and the second area being substantially line-symmetric.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application is based on and claims priority from a prior Japanese Patent Application No. 2002-351170 filed with the Japan Patent Office on December 3, 2002, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference. technical field [0003] The present invention relates generally to plasma display devices, and more particularly, to a plasma display device that displays images by generating a discharge between electrodes. Background technique [0004] The plasma display panel has two glass plates on which electrodes are formed, and a gas for discharge fills a gap of 100 micron order between the two glass plates. A voltage higher than a discharge threshold voltage is applied between the electrodes to cause gas discharge, and ultraviolet light generated by the discharge induces light emission of photoluminescence provided on the panel, thereby realizing a screen display. [0005] figure 1 It is a figure exp...
