Abstract

When effecting film formation on a disc body by spin coating using a radiation-hardenable liquid material, at the time of the spin coating for supplying the radiation-hardenable liquid material to the vicinity of the disc body installed on a spinner for rotating the disc body, rotating the disc body and spreading the liquid material on the disc body by a centrifugal force to thereby form coating film of the liquid material on the surface of the disc body, radiation having the action of hardening the radiation-hardenable liquid material is applied to the disc body before the rotation of the disc body is stopped during the spin coating, thereby reducing the fluidity of the liquid material applied as a coating onto the disc body.
