The main body 10 is mounted on the droplet discharge head 200 in such a way that the dispensing outlet 14 may communicate with a channel provided for the droplet discharge head 200. The method for supplying a liquid for the liquid discharge head 200 uses the liquid housing container 100. The aim of the invention is to provide a method for supplying a liquid for a liquid discharge head and capable of using sample solutions in a liquid housing part at a high usage rate and storing the solutions without having to discard the solutions even in the case that the sample solutions remain in the liquid housing part and provide a liquid housing container used in the method.
