The invention relates to a method for the production of a polymer (P) comprising amide and ester groups, whereby, in a first step, a homo- or co-polymer (P1) of (meth)acrylic acid is reacted with a monohydroxy compound (E) at a temperature of up to 200 DEG C, such that, in addition to ester groups, anhydride groups are formed and, in a second step, the anhydride groups formed in the first step are reacted with a monoamine compound (A) at temperatures significantly below 100 DEG C. The invention further relates to polymers produced by the above method, the use thereof in hydraulic-setting compositions and said hydraulic-setting compositions before and after hardening by addition of water.
Description
Polymer containing amide group and ester group, its preparation method and use field of invention This invention relates to amides and esters of polymers formed from α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids. technical background Polymers formed from α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids with polyalkylene glycol side chains have long been used in concrete technology as fluidizers due to their strong reduction of water content. These polymers have a comb polymer structure. A series of such comb polymers have amide groups in addition to ester and carboxylic acid groups. There are mainly two methods used to prepare these polymers. The polymers are prepared either by free-radical polymerization of the corresponding carboxylic acid, ester and amide functional monomers, or in so-called polymerization-like reactions from polycarboxylic polymers and the corresponding alcohols and amines. The route via free-radical polymerization is the most common method, but this method is difficult for a...
