Abstract

The invention aims at providing detergents against hair dressing preparations which have high detergency against hair dressing preparations and impart smoothness to the hair; and usage of the same, specifically, a detergent against hair dressing preparations which contains (a) a component having an IOB value of 0.6 to 1.5, (b) a cationic high-molecular compound, and (c) a sequestering agent. The component having an IOB value of 0.6 to 1.5 is preferably one or more selected from among random alkylene oxide derivatives and diethoxyethyl succinate; the cationic high-molecular compound is preferably one or more selected from among starch hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, cationated hydroxyethyl- cellulose-2, polyquaternium-39, and polyquaternium-7; and the sequestering agent is preferably one or more selected from among hydroxyethanediphosphonic acids, edetic acid salts, and N- acylethylenediaminetriacetic acid salts. Additionally, it is preferable that the detergent further contain citric acid and triethanolamine.
