Abstract

The invention discloses a mobile terminal having a first body, a second body slidably attached to the first body, and means for connecting the first body to the second body and allowing the second body to be moved between a closed position and an open position such that an overall thickness of the mobile terminal in the open position is thinner than an overall thickness of the mobile terminal in the closed position. The means includes a slide mechanism having at least one rail mechanism attached to the first body; and at least one slider mechanism attached to the second body and slidably engaged with the at least one rail mechanism.
