Abstract

Comprehensive process for the treatment and utilization of municipal solid waste. This process is divided into five (5) stages, and therefore drawings are not required. Stage one (1): Municipal solid waste (MSW) is deposited directly into a chamber called the Thermal Shock Chamber, where it is disinfected at a temperature preferably up to 110 degrees Celsius. Stage two (2): The MSW contained in the thermal shock chamber is extracted and transferred to a dehydration chamber, where moisture is removed, preferably up to 60%. Stage three (3): The waste contained in the dehydration chamber is transferred to a conveyor belt, where inorganic and recyclable waste is separated from biodegradable waste. In stage four (4), biodegradable organic waste is transferred to a biotransformation chamber for compost production, while inorganic and recyclable waste is transferred to a processing area for the production of posts, paving stones, and building blocks. In stage five (5), the resulting products—compost, posts, paving stones, and blocks—are packaged, weighed, and transferred to a storage warehouse for later sale. Recycled products are also transferred to a storage warehouse where they are packaged and weighed for later sale.
