Abstract

The present invention discloses a computer-implemented method and system for verifying a user's digital identity, executed by at least one processor in communication with at least one non-transient memory. The system solves the technical problems of duplicate identity verification processing, persistent storage of biometric data, and lack of interoperability between platforms, through a data transformation chain comprising: capturing and preprocessing identity data, extracting structured attributes using artificial intelligence, generating a decentralized identifier and a cryptographically signed, verifiable credential, transforming the attributes into verifiable zero-knowledge proofs, recording cryptographic digests on a blockchain network, and independent verification by third parties without access to the original data. The invention reduces the use of persistent memory, the volume of transmitted data, and verification latency.
