Universal fixing lock

Abstract

The universal fixing lock comprises a fixing element with a crown and stem with an internally or externally threaded surface, a lock housing, and a key-operated lock cylinder with a latch. The stem is configured to fix the fixing lock to a stud or a hole in a fixing surface. The crown has a cavity with access to an actuator at its lower end. The cavity is configured to rotatably and connectably receive the lock housing by means of retaining rings that secure the lock housing in the cavity. A spring / ribbed washer is located at the bottom to provide tension.The fixing lock is in the locked position when the cylinder lock is in the position where the latch is restricted by the notch inside the lock housing, and it is in the open position when the cylinder lock is in the position where the latch is not restricted by the notch and the cylinder lock is removable, allowing access through the bottom of the cavity to the drive.
