Modular, double-sided, ground clamping device or fixture for machining materials without square edges

Abstract

The present invention relates to a reversible fixing device or fixture for fixing raw material in material cutting machines or machining centers such as milling machines, where said reversible fixing device has a double ground face (A–A') and quick coupling interfaces on both faces, such as: pull studs compatible with zero-point systems, attachable to quick-change pneumatic tables without being limited to a particular brand, allowing the integration of modular stations (1…n) that accept unsquared blanks of different thicknesses and lengths, secured by means of reconfigurable peripheral clamps and stops that transfer repeatability from the ground fixture to the workpiece.
