Dyable polyurethane-urea elastic yarn and method of manufacturing the same

Abstract

The present invention relates to a dyeable polyurethane-urea elastic yarn, which is a polyurethane-urea elastic yarn comprising a blended polyol composed of polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMG) and polyethylene glycol with a numerical average molecular weight of 4100 to 6000, and an organic diisocyanate, wherein the polyethylene glycol is included in an amount of 3 mol% to 15 mol% with respect to the total blended polyol, and the polyurethane-urea elastic yarn of the present invention can be dyed by reactive dyes, can improve heat resistance during the dyeing of a blended yarn product of polyester fiber or cellulose-based fiber and polyurethane, and can solve the problem of yarn breakage or hole formation in a fabric by reducing elongation weakening due to the use of an excessive amount of polyethylene glycol.
