Abstract
The present invention relates to the fields of biotechnology and medicine, particularly to a monoclonal antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof that specifically binds to the TRBV5-1 segment of the beta chain variable domain of the human T-cell receptor. The invention also relates to nucleic acids encoding said antibody, expression vectors, host cells and methods for producing them, methods for producing the antibodies according to the invention, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the antibody according to the invention, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the antibody according to the invention and other therapeutically active compounds, and methods for the treatment or prophylaxis of diseases or disorders mediated by the TRBV5-1 segment of the beta chain variable domain of the human T-cell receptor. The uses of antibodies or pharmaceutical compositions thereof for the treatment or prophylaxis of diseases or disorders mediated by the TRBV5-1 segment of the variable domain of the beta chain of the human T cell receptor, and the uses of antibodies according to the invention and other therapeutically active compounds for the treatment or prophylaxis of diseases or disorders mediated by the TRBV5-1 segment of the variable domain of the beta chain of the human T cell receptor.
