Abstract

The door fitting comprises at least one gripping means (1) mounted on a shaft (2) and secured against displacement along the shaft (2) by a locking screw (3), where a groove (4) is formed at at least one end of the shaft (2), into which the front cylindrical nose (9) of at least one locking screw (3) is pressed, which is simultaneously mounted in the gripping means (1), whereby the walls (5) of the groove (4) are opened and the outer surface (7) of the end of the shaft (2) presses against the walls (6) of the opening (8) of the gripping means (1) in which the shaft (2) is mounted. The front cylindrical nose (9) of the locking screw (3) has a diameter (x) that is at most 2.5 times greater than the width (y) of the groove (4).
