An adjustable counter-plate of a lock for a sliding door

Abstract

An adjustable strike plate of a lock for a sliding door comprises a body (1); a regulating element (2) and a fastening means (3). The body (1) is mountable in a door frame (4) and has a front, visible, side (6) and a rear, hidden side (7). The body (1) comprises: a first through-hole (8) for the passage of a bolt (19) between the front side (6) and the rear side (7); a cavity (9) terminating the first through-hole (8) from the rear side (7) for storing the bolt (19) in the locked position; a limiting element (10) partially overlapping the first through-hole (8) and comprising a second through-hole (11) for the passage of at least one fastening means (3) of the regulating element (2) between the front side (6) and the rear side (7); and two mutually parallel grooves (12) located at the edges of the first through-hole (8) for enabling vertical sliding movement of the control element (2) within the first through-hole (8). The control element (2) is located in the grooves (12) of the first through-hole (8) and is vertically slidable along these grooves (12).
