A chipping wheel and a wood-processing equipment

Abstract

The chipping wheel (1) for a wood-processing equipment with a knife ring (11) contains the chipping plates (2) which are on the perimeter of the chipping wheel (1), and each of them is arranged in the radial direction of the chipping wheel (1). At least one of the chipping plates (2) contains a base body (4) and a multipiece feeding plate (5) which is detachably connectable with the base body (4) of the chipping plate (2). The multipiece feeding plate (5) contains two flat parts (7, 8) which are arranged one after another in the radial direction (9) of the chipping wheel (1) whereas the feeding plate (5) forms the leading part of the chipping plate (2) in the direction of rotation of the chipping wheel (1) for the direct contact with processed wood and to guide it towards the knife ring (11).
