Abstract

A ceiling edge formwork element designed for use as permanent formwork in building construction, wherein the ceiling edge formwork element (6, 106) comprises two adjacent components that are movable relative to each other, the second of the two movable components being a thermal insulation element (9, 109), wherein the two components have recesses and protrusions on their respective sides that are complementary to each other and can be engaged, wherein the protrusions are at least partially formed by ribs (82, 91, 1081, 1082, 1091) extending parallel to each other at a distance, characterized in that the first of the two movable components is a first thermal insulation element (8, 108) and the second is a second thermal insulation element (9, 109), and that the first component has protrusions and / or recesses on its side facing the second component.that the elevations provided on the first and / or the second component are formed at least partially by ribs (82, 91, 1081, 1082, 1091) running parallel to each other at a distance from one another, and wherein the ribs (82, 91, 1081, 1082, 1091) run horizontally with respect to the intended position of the ceiling edge formwork element (6, 106) in the building.
