Abstract

Method for cleaning tube bundles (1) with open ends, in particular the tube bundles (1) of heat exchangers, air coolers or condensers, in which a cleaning device (5) having at least one cleaning unit is positioned adjacent to the open ends of the tube bundle and subsequently the at least one cleaning unit having a high-pressure hose (11) is arranged successively by a control unit in alignment with the respective tube (4) of the tube bundle (1) and the cleaning unit is inserted into the respective tube (4) and supplied with liquid under high pressure, wherein during the insertion of the at least one cleaning unit into the respective tube (4) the insertion depth is measured and monitored by the control unit and wherein the respective insertion depth is stored in the control unit and documented for the respective cleaning process.
