Abstract

A bushing (10) designed for a connection between a busbar (124) and a circuit breaker (108) in a switchgear assembly (100), wherein the bushing (10) has an outer surface (36, 62) and comprises: a housing (12) made of insulating material and a tubular body (26) with an inner cavity (18) and a radial first ventilation opening (42), a base part (22) with a first longitudinal opening (30) and a fixed contact receiving part (24) with a second longitudinal opening (32), and a fixed contact (14) made of a conductive material and having an outer contact surface (60) exposed through the second longitudinal opening (32), wherein the fixed contact (14) is designed to form part of the outer surface (36, 62) of the bushing (10) and further comprises a heat sink (16) for connection with the outer contact surface (60) of the fixed contact (14). contact (14) is set up;wherein the heat sink (16) has a base (66) and an arrangement of projections (68) extending from the base (66).
