Abstract

Amplifier arrangement (1) for amplifying an audio input signal (AES) into an audio output signal (AAS) comprising a conditioning device (5) for converting the audio input signal (AES) into a conditioned intermediate signal (ZS), wherein the conditioning device (5) comprises an audio input interface (7) for receiving the audio input signal (AES) and a digital data processing device (6), comprising an amplifier device (9) for amplifying the intermediate signal (ZS) into the audio output signal (AAS), wherein the amplifier device (9) has at least one operating voltage (BS), comprising a limiting module (10) for limiting the audio output signal (AAS) by changing a gain parameter (VK), wherein the conditioning device (5) has an operating voltage interface (12) for receiving an operating voltage parameter (BK) and the limiting module (10) is configured as a program module in the digital data processing device (6),and wherein the limiting module (10) is configured to estimate the at least one operating voltage (BS) from the operating voltage characteristic (BK) and the audio output signal (AAS) from the audio input signal (AES) and to adjust the gain characteristic (VK) so that the estimated audio output signal (AAS) can be output with the estimated at least one operating voltage (BS), and the gain characteristic (VK) is adjusted on the basis of the estimated operating voltage (BS) and the estimated audio output signal (AAS).
