Abstract

The invention relates to a device for vibration relief of workpieces with at least one adjustable eccentric (1), comprising an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the rotational position of a first eccentric (1) relative to a second eccentric (2) about a central shaft. The first eccentric (1) can be locked in a rotational position by means of a coupling (4). For engaging and disengaging the coupling, the first eccentric (1) is movable along the axis of a central shaft by means of a linear drive. At least one gear-like ratchet wheel (10, 11) serves to adjust the rotational position of the first eccentric (1). This ratchet wheel can be rotated by at least one rotation mechanism.The rotating device preferably has two wedge drives (12, 13; 14, 15) each with a wedge alternately engaging in the ratchet wheel (10, 11), wherein the wedge surface and the inclinations of the teeth of the ratchet wheel (10, 11) are aligned diagonally to the radius of the ratchet wheel (10, 11) according to a direction of rotation.
