Abstract

An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) comprises a magnetic field generation device configured to generate a magnetic field based on an analog electrical voltage applied to the magnetic field generation device. A magnetic field detection device is configured to detect the magnetic field and output a signal based on the magnetic field. An evaluation device is configured to evaluate the signal and provide an evaluation signal that indicates a digital value of the electrical voltage.
