Abstract
An electrical circuit (2) is provided for current dissipation in inductive loads. The electrical circuit (2) includes an inductor (4) connected to a first node (14), which is connected to a supply voltage (VS), and to a second node (16). Furthermore, the electrical circuit (2) includes a switching element (12) connected to the second node (16) and a ground (6), as well as a first diode (8) connected to the second node (16) and a third node (18). The forward direction of the first diode (8) is fixed from the second node (16) to the third node (18). The electrical circuit (2) also includes a capacitor (10). The capacitor (10) is connected to the third node (18) and the first node (14).
