Valve arrangement for a valve train of an internal combustion engine

Abstract

The invention relates to a valve arrangement comprising a cam follower, by means of which the actuation of a lift cam can be converted into valve strokes of several gas exchange valves by means of an intermediate, switchable valve bridge (5), by bringing the cam follower into contact with a contact section (11) of the valve bridge (5). The valve bridge (5) switches between an active state and an inactive state when pressurized from a line that runs from the contact section of the cam follower to the contact section (11) of the valve bridge (5), by overlapping line openings (18) when the contact sections (11) are in contact, the line openings being connected to each other at the facing end faces (14) of the contact sections (11).At least one vent channel (20) is provided on the end face (14) of at least one of the contact sections (11), which connects each of the respective line outlets (18) radially outwards to a vent opening.
