Abstract
The invention relates to a heat pump module for supplying heat to a building, comprising a cuboid housing divided into a cold section and a hot section. The cold section contains a heat pump, which can be, in particular, an air-source heat pump. According to a first aspect, the cold section has a front opening for expelling heat-exchanged air or for drawing in heat-exchanged air, and a ceiling opening for drawing in and expelling heat-exchanged air is provided. According to a second aspect, a heat pump assembly operating with propane as a refrigerant is provided, wherein the cold section has at least one discharge opening through which propane can be discharged to the environment in the event of a leak in the heat pump assembly.
