Abstract

A thermoplastic polymer composition is provided with which a damping element can be formed without the need for a coating layer on the surface of a damping element. This damping element exhibits excellent adhesion, prevents detachment due to stress deformation, and is weather-resistant. The thermoplastic polymer composition of the present invention comprises a thermoplastic styrene elastomer (A) and a plasticizer (B). The thermoplastic styrene elastomer (A) contains one or more block copolymers formed from at least styrene blocks and butadiene blocks. The total butadiene content in the thermoplastic styrene elastomer (A) containing carbon-carbon double bonds is 59.0–68.5 wt. in the butadiene blocks.-% and the proportion of the thermoplastic styrene elastomer (A) and the plasticizer (B) in the weight ratio B / (A+B)=more than 0.410 and less than 0.600.
