Abstract

Gloss primer (GFP) for use in painting a superyacht, wherein the GFP comprises: a) an acrylic polyol as a binder resin, b) a pigment and c) an isocyanate as a hardener; and wherein the GFP meets the following requirements: i) a gloss at 60°, measured on two dried GFP coats according to ISO 2813:2014, of at least 80 gloss units (GU) and ii) a reflectance image sharpness (DOI) of at least 80, measured on two dried GFP coats according to ASTM E430:2019.
