Abstract

A lithium-ion secondary battery, characterized in that it further comprises a cathode foil, an anode foil and an electrolyte, wherein the cathode foil comprises a cathode collector and a cathode film layer provided on at least one side of the cathode collector, wherein the cathode film layer comprises an active cathode material, wherein the active cathode material comprises lithium transition metal phosphate particles, wherein the lithium transition metal phosphate particles comprise a lithium transition metal phosphate substrate and a coating layer located on at least a part of a surface of the lithium transition metal phosphate substrate, wherein the coating layer comprises a carbon element; wherein the lithium transition metal phosphate particles contain titanium, wherein the mass content of the titanium element, based on the mass of the cathode film layer, is 2000 ppm to 8000 ppm;wherein an X-ray diffraction pattern of the lithium transition metal phosphate particles exhibits a first diffraction peak at a diffraction angle 2θ of 35.5° to 36.5° and a second diffraction peak at a diffraction angle 2θ of 24.5° to 25°, wherein a peak intensity ratio of the second diffraction peak to the first diffraction peak is less than or equal to 3.5%.
