Abstract
A method for cyclically producing steam through the reversible catalysis of hydrogen molecules is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: gaseous hydrogen at a predetermined temperature is introduced into a first catalyst to dissociate it to form atomic hydrogen; atomic hydrogen at a predetermined temperature is introduced into a second catalyst to convert it into protons and electrons; the protons and electrons are introduced into a heat exchanger containing liquid water, wherein the protons and electrons recombine to form atomic hydrogen; and the atomic hydrogen then recombines to form molecular hydrogen; and the energy released in these two recombination processes is used as heat to convert liquid water in the heat exchanger into steam.A mixture of steam and hydrogen gas is passed through a polymer membrane to separate the steam and hydrogen gas. The hydrogen gas obtained during separation is recovered and reused during the initial catalyst feed stage, thereby ensuring cyclic steam production. The technical result enables the recycling of hydrogen gas, effectively reducing hydrogen production costs and, consequently, steam production costs. This also enables the development of a rationally designed device suitable for large-scale hydrogen applications in heat and power generation.
