Container closure cap

Abstract

The invention relates to closures for containers with a threaded neck, primarily bottles for liquid products, such as alcoholic beverages, and discloses a composite cap with a tamper-evident indicator. The closure cap for a container with a threaded neck comprises a metal body with an upper wall and a cylindrical side wall, a tamper-evident band connected by a loose connection to the lower edge of the cylindrical side wall, wherein the tamper-evident band is formed with several projections projecting radially inward from its inner surface, mating with corresponding limiting recesses or projections on the outer surface of the threaded neck, with the ability to ensure retention relative to the threaded neck and detach the tamper-evident band when unscrewing the closure cap from the threaded neck.
