Abstract
Description
PORTABLE DEVICE OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present utility model application relates to a portable device comprising at least one surface configured to provide information, and said surface comprising at least a first section with an internet link containing said information, further incorporating notable innovations and advantages. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Various accessories are known from the state of the art, to be carried by people, either as a trinket and as a decorative object, or as a reminder or personal management element. Thus, as described in patent WO2005025365, various jewelry settings for displaying multiple faces or gems in a piece of jewelry, such as a ring, bracelet, pendant, brooch, necklace, religious icon, watch, earring, coat pin, hat pin, and the like, are known from the prior art. The setting may utilize a face that rotates around at least one axis and a locking mechanism. The face may be a double-sided face or two separate faces, one facing outward, away from the wearer, and visible, and the other face movable to face the wearer and be concealed when one face is visible. On the other hand, it is also known from the prior art, as described in patent document US2017215528, that a wearable device allows women to track their menstrual cycle by rotating or sliding a marker that indicates each day which stage of the menstrual cycle they are in. This device can be molded in multiple ways. Generally, the device has two or more interlocking pieces that allow the user to manually move—for example, rotate or slide—a marker molded into one of the pieces relative to the other piece to highlight indicators, such as a number, icon, or color, that represent a day in the menstrual cycle. The indicators can be concealed within the design to protect the user's privacy. In one implementation, the device is attached to a chain, cord, or other form that allows it to be worn around the neck, usually under clothing, as a pendant.Another implementation takes the form of a bracelet, allowing it to be worn around the wrist. Other configurations are also possible for use on other parts of the body. Thus, in light of all the above, there is still a need to find a portable device that serves as a reminder and aid, for example to better health management, and also allows quick access to more complete and comprehensive information, for example through the internet connection. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a wearable device whose clasp is designed to be easy to use, adjustable, and efficient to produce, being optimized for good adjustability. Its wristband closure system is designed to be intuitive, child-safe, and easy to manufacture. It combines the convenience of a snap closure with the versatility of an adjustable strap through multiple perforations. Thus, the advantages of the present invention could be summarized as follows: a) High adjustability, given that the same bracelet fits a wide range of wrist sizes, ideal for growing children; b) Ease of use since the clasp mechanism is intuitive to put on and take off; c) Safety in case of incidents since the clasp provides a firm closure that does not open easily with accidental pulls; d) Profitability in its production since it reduces the need for multiple molds for different sizes, simplifying inventory and logistics; e) Comfort in its portability since the silicone material and the absence of sharp edges or complex mechanisms make it comfortable to carry; In summary, the design of the present invention balances simplicity of production with superior adjustment functionality, making it a very practical solution for children's or identification bracelets. More specifically, the portable device comprises at least one surface configured to provide information, where the surface comprises at least a first section with an internet link containing said information. This allows for the display of reminders and essential data, reducing reliance on memory and improving adherence to treatments. It also reduces consultation time for the user and facilitates rapid responses in critical situations, improving immediate healthcare management. Additionally, the surface includes a second section designed to record a user's contact information. This second section can be written on with a permanent marker, for example, with contact details, or it can be used to affix a printed label. Ultimately, this allows contact information to be stored directly on the device, ensuring immediate access even without connectivity or external equipment. This speeds up user identification in emergency situations and reduces response times, thus improving the effectiveness of healthcare. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the internet link is a QR code, enabling extremely fast and reliable access to expanded information via any camera-enabled device, eliminating manual processes and reducing errors. Furthermore, it optimizes data transfer by avoiding complex interfaces, ensuring immediate and efficient access in healthcare settings. More specifically, the information is an instructional video on how to administer an adrenaline auto-injector, which reduces the possibility of operational errors in emergency situations, and facilitates understanding even by users without prior experience, thus improving the effectiveness and speed of the intervention. Additionally, the surface includes a third section containing a logo, which allows for immediate identification of the device and its function, facilitating its rapid recognition by the user or third parties. This reduces the time needed to locate the appropriate device in a critical environment and improves the efficiency of healthcare management. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wearable device is a wristband, so that it can be worn continuously and without interfering with daily activities, ensuring that health information and access to associated content are always available, thus improving the speed of consultation and the effectiveness of the reminder in emergency situations. It should be noted that the bracelet material is flexible hypoallergenic silicone, which allows for prolonged and comfortable use on the skin without causing irritation or allergies, adapting to different wrist sizes and ensuring that the device can be worn continuously, improving the availability of health information. Additionally, the wearable device comprises a flexible band with a closure mechanism over a user's arm, which ensures a secure and adaptable fit to the user's arm, making it easy for the bracelet to stay in place during daily use and physical activities, ensuring the constant availability of the device and the information it contains. Optionally, the flexible band comprises a first strip with at least one first stem, and a second strip with a plurality of first holes distributed along its length. This allows for a precise and customizable fit of the wristband to the user's arm, ensuring a firm and stable closure that prevents accidental detachment and keeps the device accessible and functional at all times. Furthermore, the flexible band includes at least one additional hole, providing extra adjustment options for the wristband, increasing its adaptability to different arm sizes and improving safety and comfort during continuous use. It also provides an additional insertion point for other items, such as informational or other accessories. According to another aspect of the invention, the wearable device comprises at least one identification clip configured to be press-fitted into the second hole, which allows for quick and secure attachment of an identification clip to the wristband, facilitating personalization and immediate user identification without compromising the comfort or stability of the device. It should be noted that the wearable device comprises an identification clip with an upper face bearing at least one icon, and a lower face with at least a second stem of a diameter at least equal to the second hole, thus creating a snap-fit fastener for secure attachment to one of the holes in the wristband's flexible band. This allows for the visual display of an identification icon while ensuring the clip's firm attachment via the second stem, guaranteeing that the clip remains in place during use and facilitating rapid user identification. More specifically, the second stem is cylindrical and includes at least one protrusion at its end, functioning as a "rivet head" or "snap button." When pushed through the second hole in the bracelet, this protrusion creates resistance and then clicks as it passes the point of greater diameter. Therefore, the diameter of the second hole in the bracelet must be slightly smaller than the diameter of the second stem's protrusion to ensure a secure friction fit. The design must allow the second stem to pass through the second hole in the bracelet, but the clip must not be removed by movement, requiring a tool, such as scissors, to pry it out. This illustrates the difficulty involved in intentionally removing it.In short, the cylindrical design with a raised edge ensures a firm and secure fit of the clip in the second hole, preventing accidental detachment and maintaining the visibility of the identifying icon during continuous use of the device. Additionally, the icon comprises a graphic design, so that it can transmit visual information clearly and quickly, facilitating the identification of the user or the purpose of the device and improving immediate communication in critical health situations. Additionally, the icon includes the name of at least one allergen, which facilitates the immediate communication of critical information about the user's allergies, reducing the risk of exposure to hazardous substances and improving safety in medical emergencies.
