Description

Bathroom rug hanger kit OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is to provide a bath mat hanger kit specifically designed to solve the hygienic, practical and structural problems presented by traditional or existing methods on the market for drying or storing shower or bath mats, both textile and rubber. Unlike generic towel hangers or supports that require screwing to the wall, take up excessive space or detach easily (in the case of those that use suction cups), this invention offers a minimalist, hygienic, low-cost, screwless and universally adaptable solution, with special attention to its durability in humid environments and the ease of installation by anyone without tools. The design prevents the mat from coming into contact with wet surfaces (floor, bathtub, shower screen), improves drying by allowing air to circulate on both sides, and facilitates the application of disinfectant products to the underside of the mat. Furthermore, it incorporates at least two telescopic rods with a threaded system to adapt to different shower or bathtub widths without the need for cutting, making it a versatile and reusable product for any home. The invention also stipulates that the support should preferably be made of engineering plastic, such as polyethylene or similar polymers, to withstand humid conditions without corrosion, chipping, or deterioration over time. The absence of metal fittings extends its lifespan and avoids common problems associated with conventional bathroom accessories. The material used to manufacture this bath mat hanger kit can be of any type. FIELD OF INVENTION The present invention falls within the technical sector of bathroom and household goods, specifically in the subcategory of supports or hangers for sanitary textiles such as washcloths, bath mats, or similar items. More specifically, it relates to a functional and detachable structure for drying and storing bath mats, with direct application in homes, hotels, tourist apartments, hospitals, and any environment equipped with a shower or bathtub. This technical field also encompasses devices that, without requiring fixed installations, improve health and hygiene in humid environments by promoting proper ventilation of textiles prone to accumulating bacteria, fungi, and unpleasant odors. It also addresses contemporary design needs for all types of bathrooms, but is especially recommended for smaller bathrooms, where space optimization, portability, and discreet aesthetics are key requirements for modern consumers. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Drying and storing bath mats has traditionally been a household problem without a specific and effective solution. While the market offers a wide variety of towel racks and hangers, these are primarily designed for towels, not for shower or bath mats, which require different ventilation, structural support, and disinfection conditions. In common practice, many people hang wet bath mats on the edge of the bathtub, over the shower screen, or simply leave them on the floor. This encourages the growth of bacteria and fungi due to the accumulated moisture and the lack of adequate ventilation on both sides. Furthermore, this prolonged contact with damp surfaces contributes to the deterioration of the material and the development of unpleasant odors. Among the solutions currently available on the market, we find: Hangers with suction cups, which tend to detach over time due to humidity and the weight of the wet carpet. Freestanding towel racks, which take up considerable space, are often incompatible with small bathrooms. Systems screwed to the wall, which require drilling into the tiles, cause irreversible damage and do not always allow for universal installation due to the different sizes of bathrooms. Decorative towel ladders, which, although practical for hanging towels, are not designed for drying carpets and do not guarantee stability or hygiene. Some models try to integrate space for mats, but they mix these with towels, which is not recommended from a health point of view, since mats tend to have a much higher level of dirt due to being in direct contact with the floor and receiving water from the shower. Regarding preferred materials, the material used to manufacture this hanger can be any type. Existing products are usually made of wood, metal, or plastic with metal fittings, which makes them susceptible to wear from humidity, rust, or breakage of moving parts. Additionally, there is no lightweight, adaptable, screwless solution in the state of the art, preferably made of durable plastic and specifically intended for bath mats, that allows for both efficient drying and subsequent disinfection. Therefore, the present invention arises, which solves these problems in a concrete, effective and lasting way by means of a detachable structure, with adjustable telescopic bars, adhesive fixing and without the need for invasive installation, making it suitable for all types of users and environments. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The invention consists of a bath mat hanger kit specifically designed to allow for the rapid and hygienic drying of bath mats without contact with surfaces susceptible to harboring moisture or microorganisms. The hanger, assembled with this kit, comprises a modular, lightweight, and easily assembled structure made up of the following parts: a) Two legs, approximately 50 cm high, in the shape of an inverted "L", designed to be positioned vertically at the ends of the hanger. The material used to manufacture this hanger kit can be of any type. These legs have at least two holes on their inner upper side, fitted with a half-turn female thread, into which two telescopic rods with male threads are inserted and secured. The inverted "L" shape provides structural stability. The legs must always be supported by the wall and the floor (in the case of a bathtub, by the upper horizontal edge), which bears most of the weight; b) A compact wall bracket, designed to replace one of the legs when it is desired to fix one end of the hanger directly to the wall, especially in very narrow bathrooms or those with corners. This wall bracket incorporates at least two threaded holes for connecting the bars. This wall bracket allows for closer placement to the wall and reduces the accumulation of moisture and dirt in corners and, c) at least two telescopic bars, which allow their length to be adjusted to the width of the bathtub or shower without the need to cut, with a male thread system at their ends that attaches to the two legs, or to one of the legs and to the wall support. According to the invention, the legs, telescopic rods and wall support can be made of different types of materials, for example: plastics, metals, treated wood, marble, recycled materials or any other commercially available material; and preferably in rigid technical plastic, for example, high-density polyethylene. The hanger is configured to allow the suspended support of a bath mat over the telescopic bars. The presence of at least two bars allows the rug to be hung fully extended and without contact with wet surfaces, improving ventilation on both sides, preventing creases and water accumulation. d) A non-invasive system for fixing the legs to the floor and, where applicable, the wall bracket to the wall, using a moisture- and heat-resistant adhesive that provides a stable hold without the need for screws or tools. This feature allows the hanger to be installed without damaging the tiles or drilling holes. Additionally, the kit may include a disinfectant spray that facilitates the application of the disinfectant product to the underside of the carpet while it is hanging on the hanger, reinforcing the hygienic component of the invention. The design has been conceived under the principles of: Modularity and ease of assembly, allowing anyone to install it without technical knowledge. Universal compatibility, thanks to the telescopic system of the bars that adapt to different shower or bathtub widths. Reduction of occupied space, with minimal dimensions in both height and depth, optimizing its use even in small bathrooms. Durability and resistance to humid environments, eliminating metal elements and hardware susceptible to corrosion. The hanger allows for hygienic and functional use of bath mats, promoting more efficient drying, preventing the appearance of mold and bad odors, and extending the useful life of these sanitary textiles. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS: - Figure 1 shows a perspective view of an example of the implementation of the bath mat hanger, made with the kit of the invention and provided in this case with two parallel legs in an "L" configuration and two telescopic bars for hanging bath mats. - Figure 2 shows a view of the hanger from the previous figure in the position of use, with a bath mat hanging on one of the telescopic bars. - Figure 3 shows a variant embodiment of a bath mat hanger, made with the kit of the invention, in which the ends of the telescopic rods are mounted on an "L" shaped leg and on a wall bracket. - Figure 4 shows an enlarged detail of one of the ends of the telescopic bars detached from one of the "L" configuration legs and aligned with the holes defined in said leg for mounting. - Figure 5 shows an enlarged detail of one of the ends of the telescopic bars removed from one of the wall supports and aligned with the holes defined in said wall support for mounting. PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVENTION The practical embodiment of the invention is based on a disassembled kit, which allows the end user to assemble the hanger without tools or prior technical knowledge. The hanger can be placed on either side of the shower or bathtub, resting on the floor and, if desired, fixed to the wall, requiring the support of at least one of the "L"-shaped legs, which must be supported and fixed to the floor using a special adhesive included in the kit. This kit includes: - two inverted "L" shaped legs (1, 2), preferably made of high-strength polyethylene, about 50 cm high. Each leg (1, 2) has two holes (3) with a half-turn female thread. - a smaller wall bracket (5), also with threaded holes, for direct wall mounting (6) if a more compact installation is preferred. - two telescopic rods (4), which allow the length of the hanger to be adjusted to the width of the shower or bathtub, by means of a male thread system (7) at their ends and, - a specific adhesive, for secure fixing of the hanger to the wall and floor without the need for drilling or screws. This kit may also include a disinfectant spray for cleaning and disinfecting the underside of the carpet while it is suspended. Assembly process: Select from the kit the two legs (1, 2) or one leg (1, 2) and the wall bracket (5), for mounting the telescopic bars. - The two telescopic bars (4) are screwed into the threaded holes (3) of the two legs (1, 2) to form the hanger shown in figures 1 and 2, or into the threaded holes (3) of one of the legs (1) and the wall bracket (5) to form the hanger shown in figure 3. The adjustment is made by turning the bars (4) until the desired length is reached, without the need to cut or physically modify any part. - The legs (1, 2) are placed in the desired location in the bathroom, with firm support on the floor (9) and contact with the wall (6). - If additional fixation is desired, the adhesive is applied to the bases and / or the back of one of the pieces, following the instructions of the adhesive manufacturer to ensure a durable and moisture-resistant bond. Once assembled, the bath mat (8) is placed on the bars (4), fully extended, avoiding any folds or creases. In this way, the mat (8) is suspended in the air, facilitating water drainage and air circulation on both sides. The disinfectant spray can be applied directly to the underside of the carpet without removing it from the backing, improving its maintenance and hygiene. The system is lightweight, stable, and portable, so it can be easily disassembled and moved to another location if desired. In the examples shown, the legs (1, 2), the telescopic rods (4) and the wall bracket (5) of the hanger are made of high-density polyethylene or other rigid plastic. Thanks to its primarily non-metallic construction, the hanger won't rust or corrode, making it ideal for humid environments like bathrooms. However, it should be noted that the material used to manufacture this hanger can be any material resistant to the humid conditions of a bathroom. Its format is suitable for all types of bath mats, whether textile, rubber or synthetic material.
