Abstract
Description
Device to relieve pressure on the feet in bed Object of the invention The present invention, as stated in the announcement of this descriptive memorandum, refers to a device to improve rest in bed; with this device we manage to release the pressure exerted by the bedclothes on the toes when lying face up. Background of the invention Other types of devices are known for the same purpose, but they are not foldable. With this folding system, you can make the bed without having to remove and replace the device every day, and you'll hardly notice the pressure relief system. Description of the invention The invention relates to a device (formed by 2 identical supports) that is placed on both sides of the bed, so what is described below is one of the sides, the other being identical, both sides being joined at their top. The device is provided with a support of two sheets (1 and 2) folded in the shape of (L) with a hole (3) and a slit (4), on the other side with holes (5) for joining to the bed frame, joined together by welding, the sheet that goes vertically (2) has an identical sheet towards the opposite side where the sheet is in the horizontal direction (1), configuring between both identical sheets what we will call a working channel. The horizontal plate is placed between the bed frame and the mattress on both sides of the back of the bed. From the working channel comes a lower stabilizing bar (6), from the back (the part that will be placed at the feet of the bed) attached to the support by means of a screw (7) passed from one side to the other, which allows the rotation of the structure with respect to the sheet (2), this bar is joined to the upper lifting bar (8) by means of a central joint, located under a U-shaped piece (11), this upper lifting bar (8) goes from the lateral slit (4) and is joined under the U-shaped piece (11), with the vertical L-shaped support bar (10) by means of a through screw (9). The upper lifting bar (8) that comes out of the support channel, is inserted into the inside of the adjustable L-shaped vertical upright (10), so that part of the upper lifting bar (8) is inside the vertical support bar, this bar has several perforations on both sides, to be able to adjust the height and width. The piece is replicated on the opposite side of the bed, being joined at the top by the L-shaped vertical support bar (10) where the two parts are joined and where the bed linen (12) is attached. The vertical L-shaped support bars (10) of each of the supports face each other and the bed linen (12) is attached to them. Description of the drawings For a better understanding of the invention and as an integral part of the description, illustrations are included in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the device has been represented. Figure number 1 shows the support that is placed between the bed frame and the mattress. In this figure we can see the different parts that make up this piece: the two sheets (1 and 2) folded in the shape of (L) with a drill (3) and a tear (4), on the other side with drills (5) for joining to the bed frame. Figure 2 shows the deployed device. Figure number 3 shows the device unfolded and placed on a bed; in this figure, you can see how the bed linen is attached to the tubes. Figure number 4 shows the device folded and placed on a bed. Preferred mode of embodiment The object of this invention will be made with tubes already existing on the market, the lower part is a support of two sheets (1 and 2) folded in the shape of (L) with a hole (3) and a slit (4), on the other side with holes (5) for joining to the bed frame, joined together by welding, from this support comes a lower stabilizing bar (6) from the working channel of the hole joined to the support by means of a screw (7) passed from one side to the other to allow it to have articulation play with the upper lifting bar (8). From the same support, the upper lifting bar (8) emerges from the working channel, joined by a through screw (9) intended to allow the ascent and descent; at the top of the tube it is joined with the L-shaped vertical support bar (10), under the U-shaped piece (11). The upper lifting bar (8) that comes out of the support channel, is inserted into the inside of the L-shaped vertical support bar (10); this bar has several perforations on both sides to allow for height and width adjustment. This L-shaped vertical support bar (10) joins the two sides of the system and is where the bed linen (12) is attached.
Claims
1. Device for relieving pressure on the feet in bed, characterized by being provided with at least one support of two sheets (1 and 2) folded in the shape of (L) with a hole (3) and a slit (4), on the other side with holes (5) for joining to the bed frame, joined together by welding, the sheet that goes vertically (2) has an identical sheet towards the opposite side to where the sheet in the horizontal direction (1) is located, configuring between both identical sheets a working channel, from which a lower stabilizing bar (6) comes out, joined to the support by means of a screw (7) passed from one side to the other, this bar is joined to the upper lifting bar (8) by means of a central joint, located under a U-shaped piece (11), this upper lifting bar (8) goes from the lateral slit (4) and is joined under the U-shaped piece (11), with the vertical support bar in the shape of L (10) by means of a through screw (9).The upper lifting bar (8) extending from the support channel is inserted into the interior of the adjustable L-shaped vertical upright (10).
2. Device for relieving pressure on the feet in bed, in accordance with the preceding claim, characterized in that it comprises two supports, each located on one side of the bed, with the L-shaped vertical support bars (10) of each of the bed linen support brackets (12) facing each other.
