Description

Curtain rodder TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention relates to a curtain-forming device, or portable device for forming water curtains in firefighting. STATE OF THE ART As a fire protection measure, the generation of water curtains is known to prevent the passage of heat and sparks. An example of such a product is described in CN201906378. This document discloses a tubular water curtain with a foot at one end for connecting to a hose and a semicircular plate that serves as both a foot and a guide for the water curtain. The main problem with this system is its portability. While the main body is relatively portable, the semicircular plate occupies a space that is difficult for a firefighter or firefighting technician to move. The applicant is unaware of any solution with similar characteristics to the invention. BRIEF EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION The invention consists of a curtain-folder according to the claims. It is an easily portable device, which is highly advantageous for users. The curtain rod comprises a hollow body, usually cylindrical, with a hose connector at one end and a transverse outlet slot at the opposite end. The body includes two folding legs that can be positioned between a horizontal section, parallel to the body, and a position where the legs extend beyond the body, usually at a 90° angle. The legs are preferably formed by two "L"-shaped pieces, with a first section and a second section. The first section of each leg is supported by the body, acting as an axis for the legs' rotation. Both axes are essentially parallel. Thus, the legs can move at least between two positions. The locking system allows the legs to be retained in both positions. In one embodiment, the locking system is a spring at the connection between the body and the first section, allowing a pin to extend or retract into corresponding notches. The operator then pulls or pushes the leg against the spring, disengaging the pin from the notch and enabling rotation. Ideally, the notch is triangular so that the pin automatically engages the desired position without requiring the operator to precisely adjust the leg's position. In use, the operator attaches a hose to the body connection and extends the legs to stabilize the curtain-making unit. Once in position, the water valve can be opened, creating the curtain. Below the slot, the body may have a flow-direction insert towards it, for example at a 45º angle, which improves range, homogenizes the curtain, and reduces atomization by reducing turbulence. Other variations will be discussed in the rest of the report. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS A section of drawings is provided, illustrating non-limiting examples of the invention's embodiment, which helps clarify its scope. Specifically, the following figures are provided. Figure 1 shows an example of a curtain rod in the folded position of the legs. Figure 2 shows the previous example with the legs extended. Figure 3 with a schematic section showing a visible leg stud removed from the notch. MODES OF REALIZING THE INVENTION Next, a brief description is given of one way of carrying out the invention, as an illustrative and non-limiting example thereof. The diagram represents or comprises a body with a rectangular shape, with a connector (2) for a hose at one end and a transverse outlet slot (3) at the opposite end, where a guide plate (12) can be located. The connector (2) will depend on the type of hoses used, so it is not relevant which one has been represented. It will generally be a quick-connect type. The body (1) comprises two folding legs (4) formed by L-shaped pieces, with a first section (41) and a second section (42). The first section (41) of each leg (4) is supported by the body (1), acting as an axis for the rotation of the legs (4). Thus, the legs (4) can be positioned between a position where the second section (42), horizontal in use, is parallel to the body (1), as shown in Figure 1, and a position where the legs (4) protrude from the body, generally at 90° (Figure 2). A locking system (5) allows the legs to be held in both positions. In the embodiment shown, the locking system (5) has, for each leg (4), a spring (51) at the connection of the body (1) to the first section (41) that allows a pin (43) in the first section to engage or disengage from corresponding notches (11) in the body (1) against the spring (51). Thus, the operator pulls or pushes the leg (4) against the resistance of the spring (51), disengaging the pin (43) from the notch (11) (Figure 3), thereby enabling rotation. Ideally, the notch (11) is triangular, with at least one inclined plane, so that the pin automatically positions itself at the preferred point, without the operator having to precisely adjust the position of the leg (4). The body (1) may have a filter (7), such as a grid, preferably removable and in the connector (2). To reduce pressure loss and better direct the water towards the slot (3), it is desirable to place an insert (6) inside the body (1), below the slot (3), so that it helps direct the water towards it and reduces dead zones in the pipe. The insert (6) can be concave or straight, for example with a 45° incline, or comprise several sections with increasing incline relative to the axis of the body (1).
