Description

Flashing beacon cone for road safety Technology sector The present invention belongs to the field of "Furniture, games", and more specifically to the field of "Other consumer goods"; "Visual signaling elements". The object of the present invention is a conical signaling piece, commonly known as a safety cone, to which is added an element or part that produces highly visible intermittent light flashes, beacon type, thus forming a new type or model of safety cone that makes it highly visible in any condition, both day and night, and which can additionally be geolocated for the control of traffic agencies. Background of the invention When marking an area on any type of road, whether for vehicular or pedestrian traffic, due to an accident, roadworks, or any other circumstance—whether to divert or restrict traffic, or to indicate a hazard—highly visible colored cones are used. When this warning needs to be clearly visible at night, independent battery-powered beacons are added. However, these combined measures are applied inconsistently and discontinuously in most cases, resulting in them being largely ineffective, especially during the day. The present invention solves this problem, and there is no evidence of similar models currently existing, since all safety or traffic cones currently manufactured are models made in highly visible colors and with reflective sheets to improve their visibility, but they lack the proposed luminous element, which is not comparable in terms of results or the improvement in road safety provided by the feature of this invention. There are also no traffic cones that can be geolocated, an aspect that is increasingly necessary for current traffic incident control. Explanation of the invention The inventor of this application has developed an invention by which, by adding a piece equipped with a flashing light beacon to traditional cones, he gives them a novel characteristic that provides a substantial improvement in the road safety performance of the elements used to date, resulting in better visibility and therefore less accident rate. We have already indicated the role of traditional cones in incident situations on public roads, including the need to add battery-powered beacons, but the joint use of these two elements is usually done sporadically and without the necessary maintenance, which is why in many cases they do not have the expected result. This model addresses the problem of improving visibility in areas of public roads where there has been an accident, roadwork, or any other circumstance requiring efficient and safe signaling, diversion, traffic restriction, or hazard warning. By designing a cone equipped with a beacon element powered by a rechargeable LED and a photoelectric cell for automatic activation, all-weather visibility is improved, simplifying and enhancing the current use of separate cones and beacons. Ultimately, this new model offers exceptional visibility in all weather conditions, simplifying its use. In parallel, if it is desired that the light signaling provided by these cones also serves to indicate the direction of the detour, the scope of the incident, or both at the same time, a simple Bluetooth link can make the set of placed cones flash sequentially, independently or simultaneously. Furthermore, this Bluetooth connection option provides information regarding the location of the incident in the event of road traffic. Brief description of the drawings Fig. 1 shows the shape of the flashing beacon in perspective. Fig. 2 shows the proportion of the novel part in relation to a complete normal cone, i.e., the upper third is the one that houses the elements that turn a traditional cone into the object of this invention. Fig. 3 section of the novel part (exclusively), which occupies the upper third of the cone, with the detail of its elements: 1. Transparent element 2. Photoelectric cell 3. LED Rings 4. Bluetooth 5. Battery 6. Quick thread Preferred embodiment of the invention To manufacture these beacon cones, it is simply necessary to add a new piece to their upper third that includes the beacon rings, the automatic on / off photoelectric cell, the Bluetooth link circuit and the rechargeable battery. In other words, the new beacon cone will be the result of mounting on a cone truncated to two-thirds of its height according to the standard, a new element of 1 / 3 of said height by means of a quick screw (1 / 3 turn) to facilitate its assembly and disassembly, in which are found the beacon rings, the photoelectric cell of automatic on / off, the blue link circuit and the rechargeable battery. In this way, with this invention, safety or traffic cones, in addition to allowing their use in any circumstance and place where they are needed, become elements of very high visibility both day and night, and are also capable of reporting incidents on the public road to the competent authorities to even facilitate the advance warning to drivers of the incidents that appear, once they are placed.
