Abstract
Description
Circular physical device with rotating concentric discs of decreasing diameters. Technical sector The present invention falls within the field of rotating mechanical physical devices, and more specifically within the field of circular supports with rotating superimposed elements, applicable to the simultaneous visible arrangement of graphic elements or markers on flat surfaces. Background of the invention Various devices made up of superimposed discs or wheels that can rotate around a common axis are known in the state of the art, used in analog instruments, calculating tools, graphic supports or didactic devices. However, many of these devices have technical limitations, such as the partial or total obscuration of disk surfaces when they overlap, the need for windows or cutouts to allow reading of elements arranged in lower layers, or the inability to maintain complete simultaneous visibility of the different surfaces during the relative rotation of the elements. These limitations reduce the visual clarity of the whole and make physical interaction with the device difficult when it is necessary to observe several rotating surfaces simultaneously. Explanation of the invention The invention relates to a circular physical device that solves the problems described above by means of a specific structural configuration of superimposed concentric discs, allowing their independent rotation around a common central axis without mutual obscuration of their surfaces. Brief description of the drawings For a better understanding of the device, a schematic drawing is included which: Figure 1: shows a side view of the device, illustrating the overlapping of the disks and the difference in diameters between them. The drawing is merely illustrative and does not limit the scope of the invention. Preferred implementation The device comprises at least three concentric disc-shaped elements (1, 2, 3), superimposed and mounted on a common central joining element (4), configured to allow free and independent rotation of each of the discs. The discs have different diameters, arranged so that the bottom disc (1) has a larger diameter than the middle disc (2), and the middle disc (2) has a larger diameter than the top disc (3). This arrangement of decreasing diameters allows the surfaces of the discs to be visible simultaneously, without obscuring each other during their relative rotation. The central joining element (4) may comprise a screw, shaft, pin or other equivalent functional means, which passes through the discs coaxially and allows them to be held together, while maintaining the independent rotational capability of each disc-shaped element. The discs can be made of various rigid materials, such as wood, plastic, metal or other equivalent materials, and have flat surfaces on which marks, symbols or graphic elements can be placed, without these elements forming part of the invention subject to protection. The device may comprise more than three concentric discs, maintaining the principle of decreasing diameters and independent rotation, without altering the essence of the invention. The described device is capable of industrial manufacturing, being able to be produced by conventional machining, molding or assembly techniques, and is applicable as a rotating physical support in different areas where the simultaneous visible arrangement of elements on superimposed circular surfaces is required. I hereby inform you that I created this device to organize information on tempered musical harmony. By entering different content into each circle, it results in a harmony compass that is very useful for learning and developing this field of knowledge in a more intuitive and engaging way. I have named it the AMItono Method, the device is called the AMI Circle, and the method is registered with the intellectual property registry under application number RTA-00079-2026.
Claims
1. A circular physical device characterized by comprising at least three concentric, overlapping, disc-shaped elements mounted on a common central connecting element. These elements are configured to rotate freely and independently of each other, each disc having a different diameter, such that the lower disc has a larger diameter than the middle disc, and the middle disc, in turn, has a larger diameter than the upper disc. This arrangement allows simultaneous visibility of part of the surface of the lower and middle discs and full visibility of the upper disc, without mutual obscuration during their relative rotation. They can be positioned continuously and without limitation.
2. A circular physical device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the central connecting element comprises a screw, shaft, pin, or equivalent functional means that allows the independent rotation of the discs while maintaining them coaxially overlapped.
3. Circular physical device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the discs are arranged in a stepped manner in height, by means of their decreasing diameters, so that a peripheral portion of each disc remains visible when the discs are superimposed.
