Abstract
Description
Horizontal type banknote receiving machine Technical field The present utility model relates to the technical field of banknote receiving machines and, more specifically, to a horizontal type banknote receiving machine. Background of the technique Automated vending machines, such as automated transaction machines including ticket vending machines, payment machines, and currency exchange machines, are commonly found in many public places for convenience and speed. These automated transaction machines use a banknote receiving machine to accept banknotes used by customers. With reference to FIG. 1, a typical banknote receiving machine mainly comprises a vertical banknote receiving device 9 and a cash box 91. The cash box 91 is mounted on the rear side of the banknote receiving device 9. The banknote receiving device 9 includes a channel located behind it and connected to a banknote inlet 92. A conveying device and a recognition device are mounted in the channel. In addition, a banknote pushing device 93 is located behind the channel and is aligned with a banknote receiving space in the cash box 91. A pressing plate and a spring for the return of the pressing plate are arranged in an opening in the banknote receiving space of the cash box 91.After a banknote enters the channel through banknote inlet 92, the banknote receiving device 9 activates the transport device to move the banknote backward. The banknote recognition device then analyzes the banknote to identify its value and authenticity. Once the banknote is identified as genuine, the banknote and the pressing plate are pushed into the banknote receiving space of the cash box 91 by the pushing and returning motion of the banknote pushing plate of the banknote pushing device 93. The pressing plate, working in conjunction with the spring's return force, presses the banknote into place for storage. However, the current banknote receiving device 9, cash box 91, and banknote pushing device 93 adopt a vertical structure, which affects the height of the internal space of the automated transaction machine and thus limits the applications of the banknote receiving machine.
