Abstract
Description
Smart flying device for entertainment OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention, as the title of this descriptive document states, is an intelligent flying device for entertainment. It is an innovation that offers advantages previously unknown within current technologies. TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention falls within the sector of everyday needs, in the subclass of sports, games and amusements, especially in toys, for example, spinning tops, dolls, hoops or construction games, specifically in other toys that correspond to the classification of throwing or launching games. STATE OF THE ART The present invention arises from the boom experienced by illuminated flying discs and rings, which have become established as lightweight, water-resistant and highly attractive products for different age ranges. However, its value proposition has remained almost unchanged over time, relying heavily on simple, pre-installed lighting effects, which tend to quickly lose their novelty and interest to the user. In this context, the need for more versatile solutions that improve the user experience of these types of devices is identified, incorporating interactive functions, energy autonomy and greater customization possibilities adapted to different scenarios and user preferences. Accordingly, this invention presents an intelligent flying device for entertainment designed to overcome the functional limitations of conventional models by means of a circular structure equipped with advanced technology. The device integrates customizable lighting systems, audio playback, message recording, wireless connectivity, and mobile app control, all aimed at providing an interactive, versatile experience adaptable to user preferences, both day and night. Currently, there is no known existence of any intelligent flying device for entertainment that presents structural and constitutive technical characteristics equal or similar to those described in this descriptive memorandum, as claimed. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is the creation of an intelligent flying device for entertainment that brings a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany the present description. The present invention relates to an intelligent flying device for entertainment comprising a circular structure, with an aerodynamic shape (low thickness in relation to the diameter), which is equipped with at least one lighting system controlled by electronic circuits, also functionally associated with an audio playback system, an internal memory that stores the audio and possible light patterns or the rules for creating those patterns, a user interface and a wireless communication module with an associated mobile application, allowing the control and customization of light effects, sounds and recordings during flight. This invention enhances the gaming experience by incorporating customizable lights and sounds, location tracking, and updates without replacing the device. The flying device functions as an interactive toy for daytime or nighttime activities, demonstrations, and themed events, allowing visual and sound effects to be adapted to various recreational dynamics with safety and durability. The circular structure is envisioned to have at least two deployment configurations: a flying disc type and a flying ring type. The external surfaces of these structures are designed to optimize rotational flight. They may be manufactured from lightweight, impact- and water-resistant plastic or polymer materials such as silicone, polycarbonate, or TPU to ensure durability and safety during recreational use. Regarding the lighting system, its lights can incorporate a plurality of addressable RGB LEDs, such as SMD 0805 type, whose arrangement varies depending on the implementation configuration. In the flying disc mode, the LEDs can be arranged to form an outer ring of light and a central star-shaped light, with any number of arms, while in the flying ring mode they can be arranged to form an outer ring of light and an inner ring of light, thus enabling different visual patterns. Additionally, the lighting system may include durable protective capsules, such as those made of silicone, which are placed over the outermost LEDs, as these are more susceptible to impact. These capsules may protrude partially from the device's surface, allowing for better light diffusion and providing shock absorption during use. The electronic circuits can be configured to independently control the lighting and animation modes. Operating modes can include continuous, flashing, and wave-like animations, as well as special effects and reverse bit shifts, allowing the user to combine multiple options for a wide variety of custom visual effects. As for the audio playback system, it may include at least one waterproof speaker with an approximate power rating of 1 W and an impedance of 8 ohms, and a microphone for voice recording. Both components can be connected to the internal memory, allowing for both playback of stored sounds and the management of custom recordings. The wireless communication module can incorporate Bluetooth or Wi-Fi technology, enabling its connection with the associated mobile application, facilitating remote interaction between the device and an external control terminal, such as a smartphone. On the other hand, the internal memory can be used to store pre-recorded and custom audio files. This functionality allows you to play predefined sound effects such as birthday melodies, emergency sirens, animal sounds, or spatial effects. It also offers the ability to record and store custom voice messages, which can be played on demand through the user interface or via commands defined in the associated mobile application. Regarding the user interface, this may consist of a set of buttons located on the top, bottom, or inside of the circular structure. These buttons allow you to manage the lighting and audio playback system functions, providing direct access to the device's main functions. For example, a power button. The associated mobile application can be operated from an external device, allowing the user to remotely control the lighting system, manage the audio playback system, and perform firmware updates on the electronic circuits, thus dynamically and adaptively extending the device's capabilities. Additionally, the associated mobile application may include a device location function, which simultaneously activates the lighting and audio playback systems via the wireless communication module. This function is particularly useful for visual and audible identification of the device in low-visibility conditions. Additionally, the mobile application can be configured to connect to external location networks, such as "Find My Network", which improves accuracy and range in tracking and recovering the device in wide or obstructed environments. The lighting system and electronic circuits can also be associated with a motion sensor, such as an accelerometer or gyroscope, which is configured to automatically activate the light-emitting diodes when the circular structure moves or exceeds a certain speed or acceleration, increasing energy efficiency and visual response during use. The circular structure houses a rechargeable battery, connected to a USB charging port located on the bottom or inside the structure, which is protected against water ingress. This energy solution allows the device to be recharged without replacing components, increasing its lifespan and ease of use. Finally, the circular structure can incorporate one or more low-power laser modules, complemented by diffractive lenses arranged to project visible geometric figures, such as stars or spirals, during flight, providing an additional visual effect that enhances the device's appeal in dark environments or during special events. To use the smart flying device for entertainment, the user must hold the circular structure and throw it into the air with a rotational motion, similar to a frisbee. Through the user interface or the associated mobile app, they can activate and manage the lighting and audio functions according to their preferences. During flight, the system can automatically react to movement, activating programmed or customized visual and sound effects, enriching the play experience and making it easier to locate the device in low visibility conditions.
