Abstract
Description
Self-copying consent form OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The invention, as the title of this specification indicates, is a self-copying consent form. It is an innovation that offers advantages previously unknown within current techniques. TECHNICAL SECTOR The present invention falls within the sector of miscellaneous industrial techniques and transport, in the subclass of bookbinding, albums, bookbinders, special printed matter, especially in books, book covers, loose sheets, printed matter characterized by its identification or by its security features, printed matter of a special format or type not provided for elsewhere, devices that facilitate its use not provided for elsewhere, movable-band apparatus for writing or reading, specifically in the section that corresponds to books or other bound objects. STATE OF THE ART The present invention arises from the need to have an efficient and practical mechanism to manage consents in various everyday situations, such as authorization processes, agreements and procedures, where the authenticity and correct organization of information are essential. Existing systems for generating copies of consent forms are typically used only in medical procedures, clinical trials, or treatments, making them impractical, large, and difficult to transport, thus limiting their everyday use for other applications. On the other hand, although compact checkbooks exist, most are designed to reflect amounts received or paid and are not suitable for managing consents, lacking adequate fields and a format that facilitates the generation of orderly and secure copies. Accordingly, the present invention proposes a self-copying consent form designed to generate accurate and orderly copies of authorization documents and agreements, facilitating their handling and ensuring convenient access to information, overcoming the limitations of existing systems and conventional forms. Currently, there is no known self-copying consent form that has the same or similar structural and constitutive technical characteristics as those described in this descriptive report, as claimed. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is the creation of a self-copying consent form that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description. The invention relates to a self-copying consent form comprising a rigid cover with a recess for a pen, and a plurality of sets of self-copying sheets (each set with an original sheet positioned above at least one copy sheet). The cover is hinged on a different side of the booklet than the sets of sheets. Thus, when opened, the cover can be configured to act as a divider placed beneath the set of sheets in use, preventing writing pressure from being transmitted to the unused sets of sheets. This invention solves the limitations of existing systems for managing consents, providing a method that allows generating accurate and orderly copies of documents, ensuring that each record is correctly duplicated without the information being affected by the writing pressure applied to other documents. This innovation offers significant practical benefits, facilitating more agile and secure handling of consents, improving the organization of information, and allowing convenient access to records in everyday situations, such as medical procedures, clinical trials, or any process that requires formal authorization. The cover is designed to be made of a durable, rigid (rigid or semi-rigid) material, such as thin cardboard, cardstock, or plastic. It is designed to be placed under the set of sheets in use, while simultaneously absorbing the pressure exerted by a writing instrument on the upper set of sheets. This provides additional support during writing and protects the remaining sheets. This design combines strength and flexibility, making it easy to handle and adaptable to various usage conditions. Likewise, the checkbook can have compact dimensions, suitable for personal transport, offering the possibility of carrying the checkbook comfortably and discreetly in different environments, without the size interfering with its functionality or the organization of the documents. Similarly, the housing could consist of a compartment or clamp integrated into the cover, intended to keep the pen or other writing material in an accessible position for immediate use, providing a practical option that facilitates the availability of the writing tool at any time. It is also envisaged that the original sheet, as well as almost all the first copy sheets of each set when there is more than one per set, will have a coating of dye or microencapsulated ink on its back side that transfers the writing to the copy sheet, offering an alternative that facilitates the generation of duplicates accurately and efficiently. Similarly, it is envisaged that all copy sheets will be made of self-copying paper with a receptive coating on their front side to capture the impression of the original sheet, providing an additional option to ensure the fidelity of the copy obtained. It is also envisaged that the copy sheets will be detachable by means of perforation lines, optionally allowing their separation from the rest of the set of sheets in a simple and controlled manner, facilitating the distribution of automatic copies of documents when necessary. In this case, the proposal is to keep the original sheet fixed inside the cover, offering an alternative that keeps documents organized and accessible without risk of loss or disorder. Similarly, it is envisaged that each set of sheets will have pre-printed fields intended to record consent data, including date, identification of the grantor, identification of the recipient, reason for granting and spaces for the signatures of the parties, optionally allowing the information to be structured in a clear and uniform manner. Finally, it is envisaged that each set of sheets will have sequential numbering, printed, die-cut or incorporated by any other method that allows the control of the original sheets and the copy sheets, offering the possibility of maintaining an orderly tracking of the documents and guaranteeing the traceability of each record. To use the self-copying consent form, the user must place the set of sheets to be used in the appropriate position, ensuring that the cover acts as a separator to prevent the writing from being transferred to the unused sets. The user can write on the original sheet, so that the information is automatically copied onto the copy sheet, either detachable or fixed, as required. Additionally, the user can use the pen housed in the integrated compartment, ensuring convenient handling and an orderly record of documents. EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES To complete the description being made and in order to help in the better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is accompanied, as an integral part thereof, by some figures in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented. Figure 1 illustrates the self-copying consent form in the closed position. Figure 2 shows the self-copying consent form in the open position. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION. The self-copying consent form, the subject of this invention, is characterized by comprising a cover (1), a housing (2) for holding a pen, and a plurality of sets of self-copying sheets (3). The cover (1) is hinged to the body of the form on a side opposite the sets of sheets (3). Thus, when opened, the cover (1) acts as a separator positioned beneath the set of sheets (3) in use, preventing writing pressure from being transmitted to the unused sets of sheets (3). In a preferred embodiment, the cover (1) is made of a sturdy, rigid material, such as thin cardboard, cardstock, or plastic, allowing it to be placed under the set of sheets (3) in use, simultaneously providing a writing surface and protection for the remaining sets of sheets (3). This embodiment ensures a combination of strength and flexibility that facilitates handling and protects unused sets of sheets. Preferably, the checkbook has compact dimensions suitable for personal transport, ensuring that the checkbook can be carried comfortably and discreetly without interfering with its functionality. Preferably, the housing (2) comprises a compartment or clamp integrated into the cover (1) that keeps the pen in an accessible position for immediate use, ensuring constant availability of the writing tool. Each set of sheets (3) comprises an original sheet (3.1) arranged in a superior position with respect to at least one copy sheet (3.2), allowing the written information to be transferred in an orderly and accurate manner. The contact between the sheets of each set of sheets (3) includes a chemical coating on the back of the top sheet, which transfers the writing to the lower copy sheets (3.2), ensuring the exact duplication of the recorded data. For this purpose, the copy sheet (3.2) has a receptive coating on its front face to capture the print from the original sheet (3.1), guaranteeing the fidelity of the copy obtained. Generally, copy sheets (3.2) are detachable by means of perforation lines, allowing the copy to be separated from the rest of the sheet set in a clean and controlled manner. In another preferred mode, all the sheets in the set of sheets (3) are detachable. In another solution, only the original sheets (3.1) are detachable, with the copy sheet (3.2) remaining fixed inside the receipt book, ensuring that the documents remain organized and accessible without risk of loss. Preferably, each sheet of the set of sheets (3) has pre-printed fields intended to record consent data, including date, identification of the grantor, identification of the recipient, reason for granting and spaces for the signatures of the parties, facilitating the orderly and clear structuring of the information. Preferably, each set of sheets (3) has sequential numbering, printed, die-cut or incorporated by any other method that allows control of the original sheets (3.1) and the copy sheets (3.2), ensuring an organized and complete tracking of all documents. Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages that derive from it, it being noted that, within its essentiality, it may be put into practice in other modes of embodiment that differ in detail from the one indicated as an example, and which will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
