Abstract

A protective cover, which is a multi-layered cover (1) characterized in that it comprises: an upper layer (2) formed from a textile fabric; an intermediate waterproof membrane (3), which is a flexible sheet comprising polyurethane, and is disposed beneath the upper layer; a filling layer (4) consisting of a wadding of synthetic fibers, which is disposed beneath the waterproof membrane; a non-slip lower layer (5) formed from a 100% polyester microfiber fabric with a micro-textured surface, which is disposed beneath the filling layer and is in direct contact with the surface (6) to be protected; and wherein these layers are bonded together.
