Description

DEVICE FOR PRECISION AIMING OF WEAPONS FIELD OF INVENTION The invention relates to the field of weapons, specifically to the solution of a mechanical sight, which will make aiming at the target more accurate, for weapons that contain a rear sight and a front sight, particularly for handguns and small pistols. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Iron sights are devices designed to aim firearms at a selected target. Iron sights are primarily used when firing weapons designed to fire within the line of sight. Their typical use is on handguns, but they are also used on mechanical weapons such as crossbows. One limitation of using iron sights is the capacity of human vision. It is necessary to simultaneously observe both the sight and the target when aiming. The human eye cannot clearly see near and far objects at the same time. This leads to errors when aiming with iron sights. If aiming is done in conditions of reduced visibility or if the shooter has a visual impairment, aiming with iron sights becomes even more difficult. Open iron sights are the simplest in terms of construction. They typically consist of two main elements: a front sight and a rear sight. The front and rear sights are arranged in a plane and are axially symmetrical along the longitudinal axis of the weapon's barrel. The front and rear sights can have different shapes. The front sight is the front part of the iron sights and is located at the muzzle of the barrel. A typical front sight includes a post, blade, pulican, or yoke aligned along the barrel axis. In some designs, the front sight is colored; a contrasting color is used, for example, white, red, orange, reflective green, reflective yellow, etc. The color is applied to all or part of the front sight. The rear sight is the rear part of the iron sights. The rear sight may be fixed or adjustable for elevation laterally. A typical rear sight includes an additional U-notch, an open V of various shapes, a slot, or a circular hole. Both the rear and front sights are either permanently attached to the firearm or replaceable. Replacing them allows you to change the firearm's aiming options to suit its intended use, such as target shooting or competition, or to adapt to different shooting and aiming conditions, such as day or night. The sights mentioned are primarily part of short firearms. According to Czech Law No. 119 / 2002 Sb., as amended, a short firearm is a weapon whose barrel length does not exceed 300 mm or whose overall length does not exceed 600 mm. That said, sights are designed to allow firearm users to quickly hit a large target without precise aiming. With these common aiming devices, it is impossible to hit a small target at a greater distance. The process of aiming a firearm involves pointing the front sight at the target and then aligning it with the notch, groove, or circular hole in the rear sight. Current designs feature a rear sight with a notch for aiming in the front sight, where both the notch and the front sight are large, making aiming quick but not precise. The result is that the shooter can quickly aim and hit the target, but miss the desired point on the target at long ranges. This configuration is suitable for a rapid response to the need to fire, quickly engaging a large target, anywhere. When shooting at short ranges, for example, 10-15 meters, the deviation when aiming and subsequently hitting a point on the target is small. When firing at long range, for example, 25-50 meters, the deviation when aiming and subsequently hitting a point on the target is significant, or the target is not hit at all. Other well-known weapons are equipped with a notch in the rear sight and a small front sight, which allows the shooter to aim at the target accurately, but the shooter needs more time to aim, making the shot more precise, but slower. This is why there are handguns with rapid fire, equipped with a notch in the rear sight and a large front sight, allowing for quick but not precise aiming. There are also handguns designed for precise aiming that fire more slowly; these are equipped with a notch in the rear sight and a small front sight. These are primarily sporting guns used to evaluate accuracy when shooting at a target. In this case, the shooter has ample time to aim. If the user of the weapon wishes to change the purpose of its use, it is possible to replace the sights, the rear sight and the front sight, within the state of the art, which represents a certain inconvenience and requires time. To use the weapon differently, two weapons are needed, or parts of the sights must be changed. No weapon is known to be equipped with a sight that allows for both rapid and accurate aiming. Accurate aiming is possible by adding additional devices, such as optics or lasers, which are larger than mechanical sights and, on weapons, especially handguns, interfere with their use and handling. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The aforementioned disadvantages are eliminated by a weapon aiming device comprising a rear sight and a front sight. Essentially, the rear sight includes an additional rear sight element in the form of an axially symmetric, three-dimensional geometric solid, located in the center of the rear sight notch and attached either detachably or non-detachably. The front sight includes a cutout located in the center of the front sight, the width of which is greater than the visible upper portion of the additional rear sight element. The weapon provided by the present invention incorporates two types of sights in one: a large sight and a small sight. The shooter selects the appropriate sight for the required firing position. The additional element of the rear sight has the form of an axially symmetric three-dimensional geometric solid, for example, a pyramid, a cone, a plate, a cube, a right parallelepiped, a cylinder, or a sheet. The additional rear sight element is attached to the rear sight notch in a detachable or non-detachable manner. The preferred variant allows the additional element to be removed or replaced in the rear sight. The additional rear sight element is made of metal or plastic or a combination of both, for example, steel, brass, polymer. The additional rear sight element is manufactured by casting in the center of the rear sight or is attached by means of a fastening element, for example a screw, or is glued to the center with an adhesive. To attach the additional rear sight element to the rear sight notch, any standard rear sight shape can be used. The additional rear sight element is preferably provided with a contrasting color. The cutout in the front sight is located in the center of the front sight. The cutout is made by milling or cutting. The cutout is axially symmetrical, for example, in the shape of a U or V. The width of the cutout in the front sight is greater than the visible top portion of the rear sight, allowing for aiming. Ideally, the front sight or cutout is a contrasting color to facilitate and speed up aiming. Alternatively, the front sight may feature a colored geometric symbol, such as a circle, rectangle, etc. In another preferred embodiment, in the center of the cutout in the front sight, symmetrically along the longitudinal axis, a circular hole is milled to place the connecting material to fix the front sight to the gun barrel. By adding a rear sight and a front sight cutout to the existing sights, the shooter's aiming is enhanced by the additional ability to target the designated point on the target with significantly greater accuracy. The device described above can be installed on standard or mass-produced firearms at minimal additional cost. It can also be added to existing sights. Any known rear sight shape can be fitted with this additional rear sight element; the rear sight element is manufactured by casting or attachment with fastening material, resulting in very low additional costs. Standard front sight shapes with a cutout can also be supplied at very low additional cost, for example, by milling. The previously described design of the aiming device, with its additional rear sight and front sight cutout, allows for very rapid and accurate aiming. When aiming, the user simply aligns their sights with the rear sight and front sight cutout. Precise aiming is possible thanks to the shape and small size of the rear sight and front sight cutout, which must be perfectly aligned when aiming. This alignment enables the shooter to quickly and accurately hit the desired target. A firearm, particularly a handgun, equipped with the invention described above allows for rapid engagement of a target at short range and accurate engagement at long range, which is impossible with any known firearm. The firearm equipped with this invention includes both a large and a small sight simultaneously, a combination of two types of sights, allowing the shooter to select the appropriate sight for firing without having to change the firearm or the sights on the existing firearm. The firearm equipped with the described invention allows the shooter the option of aiming quickly or accurately with a single weapon. This function can be used, for example, with firearms used by police, security guards, etc.; such a firearm can hit an opponent or criminal with high precision. The advantage of using the invention described above is the fast and accurate shooting with a single sight. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention is explained in more detail in the accompanying drawings, wherein Figure 1 shows a spatial view of the sight; Figure 2(a) shows an alignment of the rear sight and the front sight according to the prior art; Figure 2(b) shows an alignment of the rear sight and the front sight according to the invention; Figure 3 shows a detail of the rear sight; and Figure 4 shows a detail of the front sight.
