Abstract

The invention relates to a system and method for generating cryptographic evidence associated with the physical transit of data on an active digital interface between a host system and a destination device. The system comprises a physical layer interceptor module configured to electrically couple to at least one signal line and observe the transmitted physical flow without substantially altering the integrity of the monitored bus. The observed flow is reconstructed and transferred through a physically unidirectional channel to a secure enclave that constitutes a cryptographic domain independent of the host system, operating in a separate clock and power domain. The enclave is configured to segment the reconstructed flow, calculate cryptographic digests, associate timestamps, and generate records signed using a private key confined within the enclave itself.Signed records are transmitted or stored externally via a standalone publishing module independent of the host system's operating system. This architecture allows for the generation of verifiable evidence based on the deterministic observation of the physical data flow.
